Center Closings and Early Closings

The center will close at 2:45 pm on 4 days so that we can provide professional development for all staff. OCFS regulations require all staff have 15 clock hours of professional development each year. By closing early 4 days, we can provide staff with 12 hours of professional development.

• Labor Day- Monday, September 1st – Center Open
• Columbus Day- Monday, October 13th – Center Closed
• Staff Development Day – Early Closing: 2:45pm – Thursday, October 23rd
• Veterans Day – Monday November 11th – Center Open
• Thanksgiving-Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th – Center Closed
• Winter Break-Wednesday, December 24th thru Friday, January 2nd- Center Closed
• Martin Luther King Day- Monday, January 19th – Center Open
• Presidents’ Day- Monday, February 16th – Center Open
• Staff Development Day – Early Closing: 2:45pm – Thursday, March 5th
• Memorial Day- Monday, May 25th – Center Closed
• Staff Development– Early closing: 2:45 pm- Thursday, June 18th
• Juneteenth – Friday June 19th – Center Open
