Center Closings and Early Closings

The center will close at 2:45 pm on 4 days so that we can provide professional development for all staff. OCFS regulations require all staff have 15 clock hours of professional development each year. By closing early 4 days, we can provide staff with 12 hours of professional development.

• Labor Day- Monday, September 4th – Center Open
• Columbus Day- Monday, October 9th – Center Closed
• Staff Development Day – Early Closing: 2:45pm – Thursday, October 26th
• Thanksgiving-Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th – Center Closed
• Winter Break-Monday, December 25th thru Monday, January 1st- Center Closed
• Martin Luther King Day- Monday, January 15th – Center Open
• Presidents’ Day- Monday, February 19th – Center Open
• Staff Development Day – Early Closing: 2:45pm – Tuesday March 19th
• Memorial Day- Monday, May 27th – Center Closed
• Staff Development– Early closing: 2:45 pm- Wednesday, June 5th
• Independence Day – Thursday, July 4th AND Friday July, 5th – Center Closed
• Staff Development– Early closing: 2:45 pm- Thursday, August 8th
