Center Closings and Early Closings

The center will close at 2:45 pm on 4 days so that we can provide professional development for all staff. OCFS regulations require all staff have 15 clock hours of professional development each year. By closing early 4 days, we can provide staff with 12 hours of professional development.

• Labor Day- Monday, September 2nd – Center Open
• Columbus Day- Monday, October 14th – Center Closed
• Staff Development Day – Early Closing: 2:45pm – Tuesday, October 1st
• Thanksgiving-Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th – Center Closed
• Winter Break-Monday, December 23rd thru Wednesday, January 1st- Center Closed
• Martin Luther King Day- Monday, January 20th – Center Open
• Presidents’ Day- Monday, February 17th – Center Open
• Staff Development Day – Early Closing: 2:45pm – Wednesday, March 5th
• Memorial Day- Monday, May 26th – Center Closed
• Staff Development– Early closing: 2:45 pm- Thursday, June 19th
• Independence Day –  Friday July, 4th – Center Closed
